Its been two weeks since I wrote my last blog, this is a special blog as it talks about my life on cruise as I worked on cruise for four long years, the experience of working there was wonderful so I thought to share it with you all because many people in India don't know about the Cruise industry..

So lets get started….

Many people in India still don't know about cruise, when I tell them that I worked on cruise they think of merchant navy, so every time I used to tell my relatives or people around me about cruise they wonder that something like this also exists. 

It started from Mumbai I gave my interview and got selected, soon I completed all the process to join the cruise comprising of some certifications, visa, medical and was ready to join in 2015. I took my first international flight to Spain and landed on a beautiful island named Palma de Mallorca it was breathtakingly beautiful island.

Soon after the onboarding my new journey finally began and in starting it was a little uncomfortable because I used to share a small room with someone and food was a big problem as I am a vegetarian so I had limited options like boiled vegetables & fruits, breads, pasta, spaghetti it was enough to fulfil my hunger, but not like our favorite Roti & sabji 

In few weeks I got adjusted to the atmosphere of cruise life started enjoying it to the fullest all the occasion were celebrated at cruise like our 26 Jan, 15 Aug, Diwali, Xmas and other nationality special days to, it was a different experience to have. we have our own fitness area, spa, sauna, crew bar, crew mess, after working hours all the crew members used to got to crew bar to relax, play games, watch movies.

The best part was to go out in our break time even if I haven't slept for the day I will be all ready to go out and explore. Seeing new places, new people, shopping, coffee and burgers it was a kind of satisfaction to myself that what I wanted to do all my life I did it 

Ship life is always fun but you have to work also for 10-11 hrs.' in day not everyone can survive there but if you do then you will enjoy your work.

when I first told my family & friends about cruise job they were all against me saying that this job is not good for Indian girls , you will be haressed they will make you work all time. but still I stick to my decision and moved on and what life gave me was memory of 4 long years working on ship and going around the world. 

Never stop believing in yourself, its only you who can make it possible..
