I have been in the writing field for 8 years. Besides writing, I would like to help my followers to make money online.  

So, here I now I post on how to start online business and make this pandemic into Panacea and attain financial freedom.

The Covid19 Pandemic has persuaded many of the offline B2B and B2C Small business personalities to go online at least for a Trial and Error

But many micro-influencers have utilised this Pandemic as a golden opportunity to create wonders which leads them to financially independent.

Ok. Let's get into the Step by step guide.

1.Find a Niche

In any business, whether it's Online Business or else Offline Business… 

The very first difficult step is finding a Niche. Many online business personalities have AI(Artificial Intelligence) tools to analyse every niche and the AI technology makes their search easier.

But as an online business starter, you need not to have AI tools to try(because, it will cost more and more of $)

First and foremost , you need to identify which products you need to sell online . Whether it could be Digital Products like ebook, podcast, short film, audiobooks, songs (independently publishing) or either it could be  offline products like Tshirts, shoes, mobile devices and so on. You could also start a blog using  WordPress , wix, Shopify, and the alikes on a specific topic (niche) . But I don't advise to start a blog using blogger (blogspot , owned by Google).

Why in the sense, most of the blogspot blogs don't rank higher in SERP(Search Engine Result Page). Most of the websites are built using (around 37% ) using WordPress. 

But in my point, you can also have choices to  choose Wix , Shopify, Weebly and so on for selling online as  WordPress is best only for blogging. 

So, for blogging, you can start writing based on your interest areas like Sports, Electronics , Books and so on. 

But keep in mind, Don't be fallen into the huge money making tips.

Instead, you should start in what Niche, you have interest and courage to move on. 

 Ok. Let's straightly drive into the next step.

2. Research for finding a Profitable Market

Just imagine, let's you have started your business in your favorite niche . But, once over the period of time, you find that there is no business opportunity in your selected niche. The Business Model you adapt is not marketable… the social media strategy you adapt might be gone wrong. What would happen, your products and services would not appeal to your Potential Audience. 

 So, it's much much essential to carry out research on the viability of your business idea.

You can also find a mentor in your niche to guide you. If you literally don't have any mentors to guide you, you can go for Facebook  groups to find the one. 

 

If you are not so much active on Social Media, you can also utilise the Q& A platform Quora  to find your mentors by just asking questions.

3. Analyse Competitors

Now, this is the crucial part of your online business journey. If you don't find or have any competitors, you are doing things  incorrectly. You need to know what your competitors are doing. Because, beating your competitors in the SERP is essential to outperform the Google Algorithm competition (backlinks). 

But, luckily we have enormous tools to analyse our competitors. The tools I recommend firstly is SEM RUSH

The SEM RUSH is like all in one platform for any online entrepreneurs. 

You can start finding content ideas, keyword ideas, your competitors' analysis and much much more.

4. Understand Your Target Audience

Unless you are aware of your target audience (your community of customers in the online business Arena), you couldn't get the traction what your business exactly needs.

You need to know your customers- their demographics, purchase habits, age, gender, and everything that matters to your business. Understand your customers' online behavior such as their favourite social media platforms, how often they buy the products like yours in online…

To help out, FB ads are much profitable in this scenario.

Although Many advertising platforms are available to understand any business' customers… Facebook as said is the king of social media.and cheaply available for the small & medium business entrepreneurs...you can straight away go for FB ads.

 The first and foremost reason is you could run a Facebook advertising campaign with just Rs. 100 

The latest trend in the business is online business is moving rapidly from E-commerce terminology into Social Commerce terminology especially in India .

Moreover, WhatsApp Payment feature will straightly open up the doors for Social Commerce & O2O (Online to Offline business model) braightly. 

5.Design a Website

Okay guys… finally we have come into the action part… i.e, building a website 

As I said earlier, you can start designing your website using Wix, Weebly, WordPress, Shopify, and the likes of it.

Before you go for registration, you must buy a domain name from Go Daddy, Namecheap and the likes of them.

I personally prefer Namecheap over others because if their best in class customer support.

Bluehost is also the popular one.

Then, you need to enhance your website for SSL certificate level security .

6. Market your Website like a pro

Then, here comes the most hectic point of any amateur online Entrepreneurs. i.e, Digital Marketing

Because, traffic which is essential for your website will climb according to your innovative & unique Marketing tactics.

Here you can choose,

  • Facebook advertising
  • Instagram advertising
  • Twitter advertising
  • LinkedIn advertising
  • Google AdWords
  • Bing Ads
  • Quora (for content marketing)
  • Medium blogs(for content Marketing)
  • Reddit(for content curation)
  • Discord(for USA based content curation)

If you utilise all these steps, you will find success and then you need to apply all the steps again and keep growing.

7.My Bonus Tips

Congrats. Now, it's your turn to be the successful online entrepreneur now. My bonus tip would be you should retarget ad campaign especially on Facebook & Instagram… if you have enough budget you can also target Pinterest as it is moving rapidly as the competitor to the visual content social media platform , Instagram.
