Ahh those days before covid.Lockdown really messed up our lives.
Traveling at 100 km/hr,windows down,earplugs in this is or rather was something we all crave for.traveling is an awesome source of rejuvenating and meeting the crazy soul inside of us. But now that almost unlock is about to happen let's see some of the less known places in India we can visit.
1.Hemis,Leh
Waking up to the sunrise at this beautiful landscape filled with snow capped mountains is a dream come true.
itinerary:You can cover this place in 2 days hence it can also be your weekend trip.You can cover India's largest national park Hemis national park and you may see sbow leopards if you are lucky.Next day you can visit the monasteries and head back home.
Accommodation:Although people usually stay in camps,but if you are traveling with family you can stay at The Verda Driftwood Ladakh
2.Maravanthe, Karnataka
Being a resident of Bangalore myslef I cannot put in words how breathtaking this place is.This is because it has a river on one side of the highway and Arabian sea on the other.If you are looking for a fairytale like place to visit this destination is for you.
Itinerary:Although you can get here by plane nearest being Mangalore airport but the view will be missed.So this trip requires atleast 3 days.You can visit temples, beach and even do snorkeling and scuba diving in the beach.
Accommodation:here stay isn't an issue as it has travellers all over the world visiting every year.The nearest to the beach is UVA Meridian Bay Resort Spa
3.Lonar lake:You may have come across this as the lake turned pink last year.This is loacted in Maharashtra.What is special about this lake is that it was created by an asteriod or a comet.
Itinerary:You can visit this place for 2 days .The first day civer the Lonar lake and next day Gomukh and Vishnu temple.The nearest airpost is Aurangabad
Accomodation:MTDC Resort Lonar is the most famous one.
4. Karsog valley, Himachal Pradesh:this beautiful gem is located amidst the apple orchids and the dense forest.If you are looking for a calm and silent vacation this place is for you.
Itinerary:You can visit this place for 3 days.Best tourist attractions are Shikhari Devi Temple and Jalori Pass
Accomodation:The Chalets Naldehra is the most beautiful of all of the resorts
