In today's Cinema at Binoculars, which is the very first edition of many more, I thought of many movies; and finally, I concluded to one of my favorite movies which is "THE LUNCH BOX." Though no word can describe its artistic beauty, I still tried to put in some words. It’s Ritesh Batra’s debut, and this venture itself is a complete masterclass package of all ingredients to make a binge and cut-classic.    

Once in a while, the cinematic world experiences a movie which is so flawless that it defines the word "Perfection". The Lunch box is one among them. It is still mysterious how a movie could be so simply executed yet a masterpiece with literally zero mistakes. The plot is simple, the acting is real & the massage is well connected to the audience. Late. Irrfan sir has given his career best performance without any extra effort as he always used to. Nimrat Kaur is simply outstanding as a middle-class woman & Nawazuddin is as impressive as always.

"Kayi bar galat train bhi Sahi Manzil tk pahuncha deti hai (Sometimes the wrong train takes you to the right destination)" is the ultimate message given through each of the characters. An emotional roller coaster ride of a middle aged persona where Saajan & Ila are trying to fill up the blank spot of their life under different circumstances. Both have a different approach towards their metal complications.What makes it special is how this unconventional love story is convincing without any cyber connectivity. All of them pulled off a fantastic plot with utmost conviction, which is difficult to repeat.

Though it has won several awards, I still believe that it is an Oscar winning creation & one of India's best movies on par with high-class international movie standards.Even though I give it 10/10, it still is underrated.

Kudos to all who have given us this beautifully crafted piece of art.
