This lockdown era has made us to learn many new things as our hobbies. Well,im sharing a cool hobby I have made in this lockdown. We eat lots of spinaches,vegetables,fruits,etc., but ever wondered how they are grown? How they are cultivated? I had these questions on my mind and decided to grow plants from the vegetables, spinaches we eat. I'm sharing how to grow useful plants from zero investment.

1)Mint - an easily grown plant is mint. It is a herb too. We use it in many of our food like chutneys,rice,curry,briyani,drinks,etc...,It is a healthy spinach indeed . It helps for digestion, gives glow to our face, improves our brain function. Mint with lemon is my favorite. The stem of mint can be planted after consuming the leaves. Water it daily ,new leaves grow easily within 2 to 3 days .Make sure you don't plant in a dry area. Pluck the leaves after its fully grown and new leaves again grows.

2) Green chili - this is a widely used spicy ingredient in our food. It is great for a healthy diet. It also helps in balancing our sugar levels. It is rich source of iron. But eating this too much can cause intestinal distress, so consume low . The green chili seeds inside it are used for the plant growth. Sprinkle some seeds in wet sand and allow it get sufficient sunlight. You can also grow your happy chilis now !

3) Coriander - This is widely used leaf for garnishing foods. This is very good for our skin. It is also a rich immune booster. It also promotes digestion.  The coriander seeds are used for growing coriander leaves. Allow the coriander seeds to grow in a wet cloth with some mud in it, leave this for 2 days, after that the leaves buds from the wet cloth ,you can now plant it in pots as you wish .

4) Spring onions - This is widely used for fried rice, noodles, Manchurians, even for curries. This is a very good antioxidant, helps to reduce cholesterol, also lowers the risk of heart diseases. Plant the unused onions in the sand /mud , water is daily . Within a week you can see the springs coming out.

Now you can grow healthy vegetables and leaves in your home. This hobby is really pleasant and a stress buster. Try this and plant more !
