6. Online trading 

Well the life of share market investors before lockdown used to be like watching shares till 12 and buying and selling share before 3.30, but in lockdown everything came to a hault !! Actually No …. This technology made the share market alive during pandemic whether it was buying a share or selling a share- all was possible due to this technology. Imagine people having lakhs n crores of  deposits and all of a sudden you are not allowed to trade because of lockdown you can't imagine how much people  would have suffered it . This could be the case if technology was not there. Definitely there had not been any increase in share market during lockdown but things could have been even worse if we lacked technology

7. Online vegetable buying

During lockdown when no one wanted to go out  how it would have been possible to eat? And also the most talked recipe that claimed to cure corona grandma's ayurvedic 'kada' - was it even possible to arrange the needed ingredients without stepping out of home . Till then we used to buy mobiles, cosmetics, clothes and a whole lot of stuffs over internet, but right now it was time for vegetables and kitchen essentials to be bought online. Well technology was in use before pandemic but during pandemic this technology boosted like fire and to prove this point a survey suggested that there was 76 percent growth in buying vegetables online during pandemic and the effect and response was so good that companies like Zomato and Swiggy also started delivering groceries. And the best part of it was contactless delivery . This was what made people believe that it's safe and people started using this more and more. But who was leading the  online grocery - Big Basket which saw 50 percent rise in new customers during pandemic.

8. Robotics 

 One of the most important technology that served during pandemic was robotics. We all know robots cannot get infected to virus and this was the biggest reason that this technology was so useful. From monitoring patient to sanitizing hospitals or from making deliveries to helping frontline workers everywhere robots dominated. Say aah, germ zapper, running errands robots played a vital role replacing humans efficiently. Be  virtual tour of zoo in Japan or screening a patient in Bangalore or patroling an area in tunisia-all were carried out by robots . In some countries swab collection was also done by robots . We celebrated corona warriors but I think we missed this non-living technology warrior robot.

9. Health apps 

You know that during pandemic immunity boosting was most important and the most easy way to do that was- Exercises . But how to do exercise ?, which exercise should we do? , what should be routine for exercise? Well the answer is gym and a trainer but both were not available during lockdown. That's when health apps played an important role in this situation which exercise to do , how to do and most important for how much time to do everything was there in these apps also there are  diet charts which aided the sessions . Many built six packs , some got slim using them and many stayed healthy instead of sitting idle. These apps helped maintain a self disciplined routine ,but , also many got fat not using this.

 10. Work from Home 

This had to be placed in the topic of technology in pandemic . Some companies tried to work in pandemic but resulted adversely with their  employees getting infected with corona and there was technology that saved such companies from getting shut down . TCS, Reliance,Infosys every company used this technology . Remember if work from home was not implemented billions of people around the world would have lost their job. What happened using this technology? Work did not stop, employees were not infected, employees were comfortable and most important they were having work and not sitting idle. An  idea in pandemic and many companies are now thinking of implementing for lifetime which can reduce employees workload. But the most important sector which got benefitted was government remember country is run by the government and government is run by administrators , ias ,ips and many other civilian workers   this technology had not made them stop their work and in short our country was run by technology.

A special mention in this terms of technology was transportation. Many of the above technology were possible because transportation never stopped . Agriculture is the one who saved the economy of India and the biggest reason agriculture became successful in covid was transportation of goods which increased demand of crops and generated economy. Also transportation of medicines , oxygen were all possible because transportation which never stopped. Ambulance was the lifeline for  reaching to emergency patients in hospital on time . In short transportation was the engine of the country that never stops.
