“FEAR CAN BE YOUR WORST ENEMY”.
Fear! We all have experienced fear in our lives, be it mentally or physically. There are some days of our lives where we are stuck in some situations which demands us to be in fear and that is ok. But being under fear for a long time is harmful for us and people around us.
Fear does not have a proper face , it can be a fear to face someone, it can be a fear to loose someone or can be a fear of trying something new or out of the box. But rather than being in fear why do we not try to face the fear, accept the situation around us and be strong and mentally prepared to face it and defeat it.
In this very blog I am going to share my biggest fear and an incidence which happened with me few months back. I am a hemophobia person. Which means fear of blood and by coincidence I am a “to be doctor”.
It was August,21 when my turn came to watch a LSCS procedure. I was very nervous to go in the OT and watch the whole procedure but I was left with no options on my sight. As I moved forward towards the OT my anxiety began to shoot up, and finally I entered the room with all my might I had left inside me. The atmosphere of the OT was very critical and serious which made me more stressed. As the procedure started my all the senses came to a halt and I was almost unconscious. I rushed outside the OT and lied on the bed and thought for a moment, if today I do not go back and do not watch the whole procedure what good it will do to me. That time I was in a loop of fear but instead of being under fear I chose to get up and watch the whole procedure as it was my first live experience. So I rushed back to the OT and started to watch it, till that time all my senses were still in the numb conditions, but I had that will and determination to “FACE MY FEARS” and defeat them. And finally all my will, determination and courage gave me success fighting my life long fear and finally I completed my first LSCS procedure and when I came out the OT I was very happy for my decision I took 20 minutes before as I had conquered my fear. And now I am like I had done something good with myself that day or I would have been in fear all the way long throughout my career.
So basically I want to convey you all to fight your fear with all your might and courage and don't let any type of fear come over your head, because sometimes harsh decisions taken today can be fruitful in long term and your future. But it does not mean to be harsh on yourself everyday. It is just sometimes situation demands you to be harsh on yourself to become strong and face every obstacle that comes in your life.
I hope you all reading this blog would have understood my message.
Thank you and have a nice day ahead.
