India defeated Australia by six wickets in the third and final T20I to take the series 2-1. After being given the chance to bat, Australia scored a total of 186 runs, with 54 runs from Tim David and 52 runs from Cameron Green off 21 balls. India scored the goal with one ball left thanks to Virat Kohli's 63 off 48 balls and Suryakumar Yadav's 69 off 36 balls. Pat Cummins (1/40) and Josh Hazlewood (1/40) each claimed one wicket, while Daniel Sams (2/33) claimed two.
First-half momentum belonged to Australia as Cameron Green sprinted forward. They were unable to take advantage with the bat in the middle overs, though, as India was able to take wickets on a consistent basis. In the closing overs, Tim David hammered it all over the place, but they still managed to score a par. Axar Patel continued to shine for India, adding three wickets to his total. It is good that Chahal and Harshal Patel both gave excellent performances.

One of the main benefits was that the team management found it quite enjoyable to see different people take on duties. Mentions that while there is very little room for mistake and that things don't always go as expected, overall he is happy with the performance. Says it won't happen but adds that he would also want to see their death bowling at the party.
At this point, it is all that can be said about this fascinating series. India wins this series 2-1, which will give them more confidence going into the World Cup. The next T20I series will include three games between South Africa and India. The series' first game will be played on September 28 at 7 p.m. IST (1.30 pm GMT).
