Candlemonk gave us a new update yesterday. 👇

Many people do not clearly understand what it is. Many have blogged about it. I will let you know as I understand it. Please forgive me if I have said anything wrong and let me know,

‘Candlemonk’ plans to deactivate all currently active monetization (to coin into money) features (weekly points based on blog views and other bonus points on blog week, referrals, reads, etc) starting December 1, 2022.

They point out that sharing based on blog views or other bonuses is not a viable/reliable model for below reasons they mentioned.

• The expenses of running, maintaining, and providing services to keep the platform operational are rising.
• In contrast to the rise in user traffic, advertising income is extremely unstable and falling.
• Numerous users who misuse the program by using it excessively alter money, views, or points using dishonest means over which we have limited control.
• Candlemonk is Changing its sales and payment approach in consideration of this.

*Bloggers will soon be able to control how their content is monetized.

Candlemonk develops a platform that allows writers to connect and monetize their writing skills with a variety of external parties, including advertisers, collaborators, freelancers, and marketers who need a blog.

The higher the level, the greater the reach, reader following, and bagging opportunities for your blog.

*For starters, Candlemonk will soon be introducing a gifting feature. This allows guests, readers, and registered users to reward their favorite bloggers with reward coins for sharing their knowledge and contributing content. Users and guests can also purchase additional coins to gift to their favorite authors to show their support.

IMPORTANT:

Starting December 1, 2022, Candlemonk will charge a 13. 25% platform fee on the total payout for all redemptions.

To make it easier and faster to redeem your current points balance by December 1, 2022, the minimum redeemable points limit has been lowered from 750 to 250 (Don't forget it's only until December 1, 2022). 

Finally, They encourage us to keep writing from the bottom of our hearts, to share our narratives, thoughts, and ideas, to use the platform to expand our content portfolios (a collection of your best writing samples) and to work with other authors and readers to form a community for sharing knowledge.
