The tradition of love between brothers and sisters in this lovely state of lofty height known as Manipur is highly valued within the state and it was look alike with the Raksha Bandhan ceremony of the central India . This ceremony was known as ningol chakouba which literally means inviting the sisters in a feast in the state language of Manipur which was known as Manipuri. In this all the reminiscence that makes their laughter oiled throughout the day had revolved round the mind all the time till the coming of the husband of the married sister to get back to their respective homes. The bond of love between  them can be seen in the last moment of their gathering and by the sound of the dismantling of the hearts followed by the steadily flowing of the holy water from the window of eyes .In this ceremony brothers give boons to their sisters and promised to be a part of their life until the end . Gifts were also given to the sisters in this day which we say nothing in comparison with the level of love given by the bothers. Was it amazing, can you trust this kind of love would be found in this morally degrading society where all the people thought only for their own comfort. If we see the condition of India the value or valid of Raksha Bandhan seems to be totally disappear from this societal arena because we can see that there was no day in India where any case about women harrasment had not happen. In India ,there occured 60 to 70 rapes in every day from an official report of Government of India and it was also further added by the domestic violences, dowry related tortures, etc. In India, the traditions and customs also demotivate the women community and already gave first priorty to the men and hence men got more opportunity than the women which we could directly see in the seat occupation of the highest law making body of the country i.e parliament . But in Manipur a state of India this was totally in contrast where there were the females who played the dominating role in any stream of society.
