It was in 2004, that Rajeev had taken his admission for the M.B.A course in kolkata. Born in a prosperous family in Nainital, Rajeev liked socializing a lot and was full of life. Within a fortnight he became very popular in the campus and was a friend to almost everybody. 

But in the same class, Rajeev found there was a girl named Amisha, who never talked  to anybody. She used to remain silent took her notes and then left the college silently. After noticing her for a few days Rajeev decided that he would talk to the girl. But when he went to talk to her, she just moved away from the place ignoring him. This hurt Rajeev's ego and he screamed at her for her unsocial attitude. Though Rajeev kept on shouting at her, but Amisha rushed out of the campus with tears in her eyes. 

That evening as Rajeev was preparing to leave the campus, he found a young girl waiting for him at the gate. She walked up to Rajeev and told that she was Reshmi, younger sister of Amisha. Before Rajeev could tell anything Reshmi told him that by humiliating Amisha, he had broken her confidence. She had the problem of stammering and so she avoided talking to people. She also told that the college authorities knew Amisha's problem and so even they avoided asking questions to her.

Rajeev was absolutely ashamed for his behavior and told Reshmi that he wanted to go and personally apologize. 

Rajeev went to Amisha's house and apologized to her and was able to convince her that he would see to it that until she finished her course he would be a good friend of her and try to support her in every way. 

After this incident Rajeev, Amisha and Reshmi became good friends. Many times Rajeev would take them for long drives, out of the precincts of the city and then in the lap of open nature Rajeev suggested Amisha to talk to the trees, the nature and everything around. Amisha did the same and found that her speech problem was receeding. She continued the therapy almost regularly and within a year's time, she was almost normal. 

After this transformation Rajeev almost become an idol to Amisha. She loved his company all along. Unfortunately their exams got over and Rajeev secured a job in Mumbai and Amisha got a job in kolkata. 

The distance between them did not get them separated, rather it brought them much closer and finally in 2008 Rajeev proposed Amisha. Amisha was almost over the moon, even her family was happy that she was marrying the man of her choice. 

The marriage was to take place on November 30 and Rajeev was expected to come on 27th November. The marriage preparation were in full swing at Amisha's place. Rajeev's parent and relatives had also arrived a week in advance. Everyday there was one of the pre-marriage functions at Amisha's house and Rajeev too had arranged a party for his friends on the evening of 26th November at the Leopold Cafe.

Rajeev called up Amisha on 26th evening and told her to Read the text message at midnight about the special gift that he would be bringing for her.

The party at both the places was in full swing  but it took a bitter turn when somebody informed that their was a terrorist attack at C.S.T .At first Amisha did not realize that matter but after some time she tried to call up Rajeev, but she found that Rajeev was not receiving the call. So she thought about sending the text message, but as soon as she went for the option she found an unread  message from Rajeev “I have been shot"

Amisha wanted to scream and call out but she could not as she kept stammering.
