Hey people, I hope you all are doing well in your life. I am here to talk about the new update of candlemonk. So please read the blog till end and tell me your views about it.

So, we all have been waiting for the update of candlemonk since the day we received the notification. I started writing again after i get that notification. But i am not at all satisfied with the new update and I think many of you will agree with me.

The changes i notice since morning is listed below,

1. We don't receive any gems for reading blogs. The candlemonk gives points before for reading 7 blogs and then it changes to getting gems for reading blogs and then we can redeem gems as points after gaining 250 gems in total. 25 gems is equal to 1 points, which is too less but we are fine with that. But now, it is also stopped.
2. We don't receive any points after publishing 5th blog. As you all know, we get 5 points for publishing every 5th blog. But i published my 60th blog today and don't get any points. 
3. Now, according to me the only point we get is based on our views now.

I really respect the candlemonk team and it's builders. I know they also have to pay for maintaining the site but the thing is that the points of views is also very less and now the fee is also deducted as it is clearly written in the notice.

We all give our time and hardwork to write on the platform but what's the points if we didn't get the reward of that.

Well, there is a new feature also which is not added yet but it will be added soon as per the notification i received. The new feature is that we can give our gems to other creators if we like their blog.

According to me, is the candlemonk team is stopping the monetization like, giving gems on reading blogs and giving points on publishing every 5th blog then they should increase the points per view. We people atleast need some motivation to write and there is no bigger motivation then getting points.
