This story is about Room No.- 202 where a man lived with his wife and son. They were our neighbors. When I was a kid, I used to play games at home I don't like to go outside frequently. Because I was scared of that man. Everyone in our society likes his behavior but I just hate that uncle, he was a friend of my father too. My father used to take me to the park for playing with other kids, One day we just left the door and I listen that someone was crying and begging for help. 

I asked my father to help her but he said no dear we can not help her. I told- "why?" He answered - “because he is her husband.” Again on the same night she was crying and begging for letting her go to her parents but he was beating her. Those screams kept repeating in my mind, from that day I didn't like to go to the park and play. 

One day my family was having dinner, suddenly she knocked on the door. My mom opened the door and asked her what happened. She said please save me he will kill my son. Everyone in our family leaves their food and goes to their home. My father tells that uncle to not behaving like this with their family. After that day, no screams came till 4 to 5 days.

After a week, again same screams... I was scared of them. My mind was kept asking me that why is this man beating her? She did anything wrong? What is her mistake? Why she did not stop him?

These all questions remained unanswered at that time. But time gave me answers to all these questions. He was beating her because their parents arranged their marriage without even asking them that are they ready for marriage or not. Her mistake was that she was tolerating him. She can't stop him because he was her husband. She can not take any stand against him.

Why Indians treats women as an object?  she also has the right to live their life. Women are the strongest creature on earth, She hadn't even told anyone that my husband beats me every day. If someone asked her she said- “Nothing he just had a rough day so his mood was not good.” That men are the weakest who beats her wife brutally.

 My question is - “ WHY SHE???” 

I had met many peoples who think that women should remain in control otherwise their independence will let them rise above the man. Many times I have tried to make them understand that what if she wants to rise? But that efforts are useless until they just change their thinking.😕
