Friends , it is an American television Sitcom created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer. It was first aired on September 22 ,1994 on NBC. 

This sitcom revolves around 6 friends showing us their day to day life, their love and most of all their friendship. Just as the title suggests it truly sticks to your heart. It has been and will always be my comfort pillow and I am sure it's the same to all the 'Friends' fans out there . To all those who have not yet watched this series, please do watch this. It can be a great comfort for you guys during this pandemic period. Also I can guarantee that after watching this series and these 6 people : Ross , Monica , Chandler, Rachel, Joey and Phoebe are going to live in your hearts rent free.

This sitcom shows us the lives of these people and various incidents that happens to them. They usually hang around at a Cafe called the Central Perk. Let me introduce you to the characters:

Rachel Green : A fashion Enthusiastic woman who recently became Independent and is Monica's Best friend. She and Ross are frequently in an on-off relationship and they even have a baby together.

Monica Geller : Ross' sister and a clean freak . She is a chef and has a hard time finding a relationship that holds on . Finally she finds her soulmate at next door - Chandler. The series ends with them adopting twins and moving to the suburbs.

Chandler Bing : He is a Ross's best friend from college. His job remains as a mystery throughout the episode and also like Monica doesn't get involved in a serious relationship until Monica.

Joey Tribbiani : He is an actor and Chandler's Roommate and  Best Friend. He is an innocent , caring friend who has a lot of short - term relationships. He is the only character in the series who is still single when the show ends.

Phoebe Buffay : She is a masseuse and the weird one among the group. She lost her mother when she was young and was brought up in the streets. She becomes a surrogate mother for her brother giving birth to triplets. She ends up with a guy named Mark who is done by Paul Rudd.

Ross Geller : He is a palaeontologist and works in the National Museum . He has almost 3 failed marriages throughout the series. He finally ends up with Rachel at the end of the series. He is also the father of 2 children in the series : One with his 1st wife and 2nd one with Rachel . 

 This show also has episodes where it had appearances of Famous Stars like Brad Pitt (who later married Jennifer Aniston) , Paul Rudd , Bruce Wills, Jeff Goldblum , Ben Stiller and the list goes on . 

This show shows us the value of friendships and how friends become our family during our 20s . It also show us about love and its beauty. Moreover its a fun show filled with sarcasms, jokes and many more. It was a big hit during its time and still has a lot of viewers even after 26 years of the show's release .
