Every Day, A Cup Of Green Tea

Green tea is one of the least refined forms of tea because it is produced from unoxidized leaves.

Which is better: green or black tea? Which is the superior option? The type of tea is determined by the degree of oxidation of the leaves. As a result, it has the most antioxidants and protective polyphenols, as well as the least caffeine. The option should be obvious since the majority of the supposed health benefits of tea are due to the free radical-fighting antioxidants.

The following are some of the most important advantages:

  • It aids in the prevention of bad breath, cavities, and decay. Antioxidants can also help to strengthen the gums and reduce plaque.
  • Green tea polyphenols and anti-oxidants will boost the antioxidant potential of the blood. This, along with catechins, prevents oxidation of LDL particles, which is one of the pathways to cardiovascular disease.
  • Green tea will help you grow your hair and protect you from sunburn by drinking it every day. It has been shown to tone and brighten the skin.
  • According to studies, drinking green tea on a daily basis lowers total and LDL (bad) cholesterol. It increases the antioxidant potential of the blood, preventing the oxidation of LDL particles, due to the existence of a significant quantity of anti-oxidants. Lower cholesterol indicates a lower risk of heart disease.
  • It raises the metabolic rate and increases the body's fat-burning ability, resulting in weight loss. It promotes fat oxidation, which makes fatty acids usable for use as energy by mobilising them from fat tissues. This results in a positive and healthy weight loss that can be maintained over time.
  • Patches of dry, red, flaky skin caused by inflammation and overproduction of skin cells characterise inflammatory skin disease. Green tea consumption reduces skin cell development and inflammation.
  • It helps the body to rid itself of toxins. You'll feel revitalised, have more energy, and be able to work more effectively as the body's needless wastes are flushed out.
  • It's a great drink for diabetics because it's low in calories and helps to keep blood sugar levels in check. It helps to reduce the risk of diabetes in people who are predisposed to the disease.
  • Although it has not been proven to cure cancer, studies show that the polyphenols found in green tea can help to slow tumour growth and protect against the side effects of chemotherapy.

Green tea is less likely to disrupt sleep due to its low caffeine content. It also helps to improve sleep and relieve stress by promoting the development of dopamine, a mood-stabilizing enzyme.
