The Sacred Possession

What is your most valuable possession?

I wish I could say that my life is my most precious possession. But that would be a hoodwink. The truth is each of our life is the most valuable but we are drugged by the society to not understand that. We need to be conscious being to be able to understand and value life.

Bruce Lee states that the possession of anything starts within our mind. Human mind is amazingly capable of sophisticated things. But that worldly wisdom has done no good for this planet. We live to seize and confiscate everything we see. We be like “ I WANT that latest model”. Its not a necessity, yet we demand that we cant survive without it.

The main reason I wanted a job is to conquer the little dreams I had. The materialistic possessions one dreams of is innumerable. I used to argue that I am not a materialistic person but now I guess it not so and that's pathetic. Every single human being lives and dreams to buy this or that in the coming future. The fourteen or twenty year old mother who begs for food and money lives to buy and possess materials to gift her child a better future. The same way we gift our 50 and 60 year old parents better phones or watch to make their lives easier. OH! I need to say that gifting phone makes life miserable. Its something out of the box but I just wanted you all to know that we don't have to be robotic and we don't have to be surrounded by gadgets.

Its not just materialistic possession that we want. Deep down we crave for security of these possession. Security gives an entitle to the material and that's what we want. When walk down the lane a person sees a Bugatti and ask the next person “ Wow I wonder whose car is that”. You see the Bugatti is confiscated by XYZ. And that's what we all live for, to own a car, own a flat, own a phone, own a diamond, own a bike and even worse own a kid. Pfftt. How can we own a kid? Oh Boy its true, people do live to own another human being. Crazy right!

The next havoc after seizing things is that we start comparing it. Its nothing astounding. Its what we all do knowingly or unknowingly.

WE COMPARE ACCOMPLISHMENTS WITHOUT KNOWING THAT LOVE IS THE GREATEST POSSESSION.
