1.Pulse oximeter— This is our first euipment which monitors the oxygen level or saturated pulse oxygen(Spo2%) level in our body, Pulse rate(PR) and perfussion index(PI) of our body, as you can see in above image.
a. Spo2(%)– This is saturated pulse oxygen (oxygen level) of our body. The machine tells this value in terms of Percentage. For Healthy person, your Spo2(%) should not be less than 94%. Check twice or thrice per day and make record. If oxygen value of your body is less than 94%, it means you are facing problem in breathing and you may have chances of covid. Hence consult to a doctor immediately.
B. Pulse Rate(PR)— The machine tells in beat per minute (BPM) as you can see in above image. For Healthy person the PR value should be in between 60 to 90. It should not be less than 60 and not more than 90. If it is so contact your doctor. Measure your PR value with pulse oximeter twice or thrice daily.
C. Perfussion index (PI%)— Pulse oximeter tells PI value in %. This value is not much related to your covid symptoms. But for a healthy person this value should be in between 2 to 20. Remember the PI value should not be less than 0.5.
2. Thermometer— This is our 2nd euipment that we should have. It helps in monitoring our body temperature. Check your body temperature twice or thrice a day. If you have a persistent fever greater than 101°F for more than 3 days then you may have chances of covid. So immediately consult to a doctor.
