Hey folks,hope all of you are doing great.So as we all know in indian culture marraige is considered as the most important event in our life.Two people having different mindset,interest and opinions living together for the rest of their life under same roof.People earlier used to live together for the rest of their lives even if they are unhappy.Especially girls back then were teached to live that way,to make sacrifices of their own happiness just for the sake of society and they do not have any option left because they were not financially independent that time as at that time they were not getting enough education and support from their families.

But as we are in 20s now and we can see that divorce rate is increasing rapidly in last few years in comparision to earlier.So the question here is what are the main reasons of increase in divorce rates?

Here is the most common and important reason of increase in divorce rates in recent times according to me:-

1.Indian women have grown a lot in the past few years especially in financial terms.They are no longer dependent on anyone for anything . Earlier they used to remain in a relationship even if it was an abusive one as they were not finacially independent but now women are educated and smart enough to take care of themselves in all terms.

2.Earlier intimacy is all about sexual pleasure even if it is without consent of women but now intimacy is not about sexual pleasure only but it is also about emotional pleasure,spending more quality time with each other but nowadays most couples are struggling to find that connection with each other and that's where the problems start. 

3.In Initial phase of the relationship there is alot of spark as people give each other more time and  put more effort. But after sometimes they  stop doing everything which made them feel special at that point and that becomes a problem in marraige as people taking each other for granted.

4.We are becoming morden day by day but we still cannot disagree with the fact that we are still living in a  society where marriage should be in a certain way.where couples should know their limits and a woman is still not allowed to put her opinion.But the problem is that the newer generation dosen't believe in compromising or adjusting just for the sake of society which leads a problematic marriage which can end up in divorce.
