By freedom we generally refer to the right to act, speak or think as he/she wants without any hinderance. But it is always a matter of concern to what extent the freedom should be available and at what age especially to women in countries like ours where there have been various constraints on how a women should live since ages. Though I believe the thing that we will discuss here would not be gender biased, we will talk about both the sides.

Since we are born our decisions are taken by our parents or on a larger scale sometimes by the extended family or relatives or as per society.

Well, that is complicated obviously as what we need to do in life should be our concern. No doubt unless we turn 18 its the duty of parents to decide for us which is not a bad thing. Sometimes people oppose this but that's not fair, our parents would not decide bad for us and you can always put your point ahead what you feel. The problem arises when your opinion is not considered. In this case instead of being a rebel which is pretty common at this age you should always try to explain logically.

because when are not allowed to express ourselves we tend to develop low confidence, afraid of public speaking, coward ness etc.

We should always express ourselves clearly but we should never stop taking parent's advise. It helps in making the bond stronger and we can take better decisions.

Even in case we have to compromise we should never give up and have faith that our time will come. In such cases you should always try to learn more and more, educate yourself and become financially independent. By this we develop decision making skills as we start growing and learn the outer world, we face problems and find solutions .

freedom should never be misused in any way and never ever break your parent's trust as if it breaks once it is very difficult to re trust.

always think twice from every angle before you decide anything. Personal freedom is very valuable and no one should ever try to misuse it , you should always be aware.

India and its culture is really beautiful and the way a child's upbringing is done is phenomenal.

Also never compare your life with anyone our what happens in other countries.

Think for yourself and as well as your parents and maintain the balance.
