If you witness any of the above, immediately consult a doctor and take the prescribed medications. DO NOT take the infection lightly and try to treat it by yourself. Black fungus can even lead to brain damage if not treated properly and on time. Does Covid patients get affected by it? Black fungus can infect any of us. The immunity level of Covid affected people, or people recovered from Covid is relatively low. So, these people have higher risks of getting infected by the black fungus.

Moving on to white and yellow fugus, white fungus is a type of yeast called Candida. Yellow fungus is again caused by contaminated environment and an unhealthy living. Unlike black and white fungus, yellow fungus infects the internal system of our body. All the three types of fungus mentioned are not communicable, and cannot spread from one person to another.
