I Love You, Korean Drama!

During my college days, I've heard so many friends talk about Korean series and how addictive they were. I was neither aware, nor interested in it. But guess what? I'm afraid that I'm gradually becoming a K-drama addict too!🙈 Wondering what's sooo nice about Korean television series? I'm more than excited to tell y'all about it!!

Most of the K-dramas have a single season and 16 episodes. For people who like long hour episodes, Korean dramas are love! Till what I have watched, there rarely are short hour episodes in these. Hence, you can enjoy a full hour of pretty romances, and also a whole series can be completed watching in a week, so many more K-dramas can be added to your wishlist!

Being an Indian, I've always hated half-baked or raw foods, or any kind of Asian foods. Contrarily, Korean dramas tempt you to have a bite of their food. The foods portrayed in the series look so delicious, leaving us wonder “how good would that be to eat!". Also, the names of their foods are something interesting to be heard of. Say, gimbap, tteokbokki, kimchi, bibimbap, etc. Trust me, I learnt all these by just binge watching series!

Ahh, my favorite part now! Romanceee! Unlike Hollywood, most of the Korean dramas film border-line romance which is the best part of the season. While the lead roles catch up quite well from the beginning, the most awaited “first kiss” will always be scheduled to the farther episodes which increase curiosity in the audience. K-dramas make you realize that its the holding hands, little pecks of kisses, and the soft touches that make life beautiful.

Oh my god, the cast! I should've put this at the start tho ;) Both the male and the female leads are forever good looking in the Korean dramas! I wonder how even the second lead of a season can be chosen to be perfect! 🤔 The fashion sense of Korean film industry is different from all the other film industries of the world, and so much fashion can be learnt from them.

Not only fashion, but the culture of Korea and the technology facts of the country is also something that should be noted. We can observe different rural and urban cultures of the country, astonishing scenery and beautiful sites of Korea, through the series. Korea is also well-known for it's fascinating technological realities. There's much more about this amazing country which cannot be listed. Start watching K-dramas today, and let me know what you like the most about them! Annyeong! (Bye).
