Hey hello folks, I'm here to share a slice of my life—a day that meant something to me. It's not a report, just a personal story.
I'm a third-year Mechanical Engineering student diving into the second day of my sixth semester. My college day kicks off at 9 am after a breakfast of idlis and vadai. Before lunch, I have three classes lined up. The first went smoothly, but the second was unexpectedly free, so I delved into some insightful blogs on Candlemonk, making it a productive reading day. The third class dragged on with a dull discussion on theory. Post that, a satisfying lunch of dal awaited me. With some spare time on hand, I tuned into YouTube for a mix of videos and shorts.
After a satisfying lunch, I had three more periods to attend. The first one was led by my placement coordinator, and despite my initial apprehension, he turned out to be incredibly polite and kind-hearted. The second class got a bit tedious as it focused on mechanization. There was a humorous incident where my friend and I, knowingly or unknowingly, managed to slip away by engaging with our mobile phones to avoid the monotony.
The third session covered ergonomics, and it turned out to be a great day with that faculty. Later on, my friends and I planned a surprise visit to our hostel caretaker, who had been shifted to the hospital section for duty. Seeing us, she was overjoyed, and we spent quality time catching up before returning to the hostel.
After some serious and interesting photo shoots for my Instagram, we headed back to our room. I settled in to watch episodes of Madan Gowri and VJ Sidhu vlogs, immersing myself in their series in YouTube.
Feeling hungry later on, I opted for a simple dinner of chapati. Then, I had to focus on completing my machine drawings, which ended up taking nearly two hours for a single drawing. Once my college tasks were done, I delved into Candlemonk in search of content for a blog post about my day-to-day life.
I spent almost half an hour typing up the article, occasionally having deep conversations with my friends along the way.
