Here I am with a new blog. My topic today seems quite interesting and surprising because among a large population of people there are only few who uses their left hand for most of the activities like the people who does their work in right hand. International Left handers Day is celebrated across to encourage the lefties to be just proud as the same way of right handed people. Only 12 percent of the world population are left handers and  this International left handers day became popular in the year 1992 in the UK. Left handers day is for those who are less in population and stand out from common right handers. Left handers do use their left hand for writing, eating, catching and throwing.

I am also a little more interested in known the facts of left handers because I am one among them. I do feel proud in saying so and till today I had never thought I was different from others. I do the same thing the same way and there is no difference seen in case of my works. There exists an controversy regarding people starting to write and do things in their left hands and they are forced to change back to being like a normal person. Thankfully I had never experienced such cases but I have seen some people being involved. That time there raised a question within my self. Being a lefty is a little bit of problem cause the difference is never taken care by others. There are no special attention given to those left handers starting with a classroom. Lefties are allowed to sit and write the same way right handers do but the difficulty they face during the school time is something to be taken care of and many more such incidents.

Its also very surprising to know that many great people like Mother Terasa, Walt Disney, Albert Einstein, Barack Obama, Charlie Chopin were also the lefties who had made great works. The main aim and tradition  of this day is to make people aware the difficulties, advantages as well the disadvantage of being a left handed and create better environment to overcome those difficulties in the right handed dominated world. This day may be responsible for the confidence to rise and a handshake to those lefties to make sure everyone is equal and gets equally respected through.
