My grandfather said to my father, and my father said to me that India is a developing country and the same I am going to say to my kids but why India won't be a Developed Country.

In India, there are people with different tradition, different languages etc. That is why India is called as Democratic Country.

The reasons are as follows: 

Population, Unity, Politics, Corruption, Poverty, Literacy and so on.

1. Population: we are the second most populous country in the world, by 205p we might be in the first place. If the country population is more it will be difficult for the country to grow, that is why governments introduce motos and slogans to educate people on family planning.

That is why Jawaharlal Nehru said India is Rich, but Indians are Poor due to Population.

2. Unity: For other countries, India means Unity In Diversity, but this is not the case inside, for any issue with teamwork we can resolve that, but in our country, we don't have the unity that is why Britishers were able to rule out country, if any problem comes we don't care because he is not our Caste or Religion.

Whenever, we leave the Caste or Religion behind and think country problem is ours then only India will develop.

3. Politics: Britishers brought Divide and Rule Policy, they divided based on caste and religion. So, we may lose our Unity and start fighting each other then they can rule us, it has been 74 years since they left us but still, we follow the same. We cast our vote based on caste and religion but not based on the person.

4. Corruption: One of the worst thing in India is Corruption, to get out things done faster we supported Corruption and brought them into a situation where things won't move without Corruption. So we all have hands in it. 

5. Poverty: Rich getting Richer and Poor getting Poorer, that it why there people who don't even have food to eat once a day.

6. Literacy: Poor people don't even know that if their children get educated their life will be changing, that is why instead of sending them to school they are send them to daily work.

For a country 74 years is really more to get developed, this is the main reasons which I know for not getting Developed India.
