Hi guys. Hope everyone is safe and healthy. My new blog is about one of the challenges we are facing in this pandemic : Working from home. I thought of sharing my own story in this blog.
I am a 2020 graduate who's been eagerly waiting to start my career and step on to the new working environment and very excited to meet new colleagues and office. Everything was gone with βCORONAβ the pandemic. It's been an year now and I still don't have my Identity card. At first before pandemic, I thought I will get easily adapted to the software environment but I'm still counting days to go to office.
After two months of my joining , I was assigned to a good project and training is given for a week and I got a position which is not relevant to the training I took. I asked everyone about this but they said they assigned me as per the requirement as there are no people from that. So only me working in that part. So I have started fresh learning cause I'm not at all aware of the technology I was assigned to. At initial stage, I found some difficulty because of the quick deadlines and that I am at learning stage. But due to this work from home, initially I had very tough times working till late nights. Sometimes ,I felt like it was effecting my health. Later on, I managed to work on the project parallelly learning the concepts. I also spoke to my supervisor about the problem I am facing. He suggested some trainings and it became better later on. You can also overcome the challenges faced at workplace.
This is all about my first career experience.
Thank you all. Have a great day
