What is personality ?
Personality derives from a latin word “persona” which means ‘mask’. A mask is a piece of cloth or other material, which you wear over your face so that people cannot see who you are , or so that you look like someone or something else.
We may be familiar with dramas where the artist wear a mask and perform various characters. These masks help them differentiate their character from those of others. With this basic, the word personality is fitting to differentiate one person from the others. In other words, in order to identify one's individuality or uniqueness, the term personality is used.
