This action drama directed by Nelson needed a deeper script 

Comedy as a genre has undergone a sea change in Tamil cinema Decades ago, the comedian ,usually the protagonist's beast friend appeared in a scene inserted between a song and an action Sequence, feeding Tamil's comedy TV channel a lot. That's “another Comedy” track has been a thing of the past since the advent of a new generation of directions. One of them, Nelson , was a pioneer who pushed comedy to the fore in a important sequence, regardless of the mood of the scene. This was obvious in 

Kolamavu Kokila and Doctor and worked primarily.

This metaphor failed him in Vijay's latest movie , Beast ,and struck the theater. Vijay is cast on Veera Raghavan, a RAW agent that can dodge 100 bullets and escape unharmed .For the first few minutes of the movie, I See him doing what he regrets at the Indian border. In This scene ,you can feel the reason , the emotional weight.

   But unfortunately its missing in the rest of the movie .Also ,I do not feel the tremors  that should exist in such a tense situation. Somewhere in the hustle and bustle of Chennai Mall being held hostage by a group of terrorists, both emotions and logic are almost in line.

The beast as a theme the kidnapping in the mall and the hero ready to save them is perfect for Nelson, given his achievements so far. The interaction between the characters may have created an interesting scene, but unfortunately, VTV Ganesh's interesting one linear remains, only occasionally .Vijay's interaction   with selvaraghavan ,who acts as an intermediary between the government and terrorists looks much more casual. The romance with Pooja Hegde and all its accumulations could have been completely avoided , but it didn't make a big difference.

By star worshipping the hero and showcasing many slow movement sequences and heavy responsibility movement scenes, Nelson falls right into a lure that he cautiously averted in his preceding Doctor. Here too, Similar to Siva Karthikeyan withinside the preceding outing, Vijay is aloof and expression less. But in contrast to that movie, he prefers to apply extra brawn than brain…..that is the various large issues of beast.

The writing is a large letdown, mainly with inside the 2nd ½ of after the hostage state of affairs receives below control, and the dearth of a study villain to assignment the leads stands out sorely.
