How To Turn Our Negative Thoughts Into Positive Through Some Creative Activities :

In today's era of technology mostly all of us are suffering from stress and tension.This does not mean that we should not use the technology,but we have to understand that the over usage of anything is not good.We have to prioritise using our mobile phones i.e. we should only use those apps which are essential for us.Use of each and every app is not necessary as it also spoils our time in using the technology.

Due to the stress,we started thinking negative thoughts and the whole aura around us becomes negative. We can do many things about it.Life is not always roses and love,there are rough patches,stinky socks and heartbreaks.The mind is its own place and in itself can make a heaven of hell,a hell of heaven.Negativity is not anything but in the mind.So,after the way you look at the world and the world alters.

We can turn our negative thoughts into positive through some creative activities.Creating something out of your own creativity is always distressing.Cook,draw,write,paint,dance or create anything under the sun.Write all the negative thoughts and it will be as good as dispelled.Writing is very curative in nature.

Put your phone,laptop,television,social media,smart watches,and every digital thing away.Breathe the beauty of being natural.The biggest happiness and satisfaction lies in living with the nature.Now-a-days everyone is not so happy because they have kept themselves away from the nature and its beauty.

  1. Nature's Therapy : Spending some time atleast 5 to 10 minutes with the plants will provide us immense pleasure and peace by which we can feel satisfied,healthy,happy and connected with nature.This is called nature's therapy.
  2. Reading : Reading is very good for everyone.Pick a book and if possible,inspirational.Make a practice of reading anything daily whether it is a motivational story,novel or newspaper.Reading helps in reducing stress.It is a skill by which our negative thoughts can be changed into positive thoughts.
  3. Cooking : Sometimes cooking by your hands reduces negative energy.Whenever you feel like you are surrounded by some negative vibes,just try to cook something interesting which you have not made before or make it for some other member of your family.Trust me you will feel so encouraged by doing this small therapy of cooking.
  4. Painting / drawing : Drawing or painting something is also very good for reducing mental stress.It gives a special type of positive energy to our mind.Just try to fill different types of colours in drawing and when you start filling those colours you will feel very nice.
  5. Singing : Every time you do singing or hearing music,you will always feel better.When we sing we connect more with the feelings and this provides an amazing stress relief.
  6. Travelling : Travelling strengthens the soul.Whenever you feel low or anything negative,just go for a walk near the park,visit near the river or plan a short trip with your family or friends.

Negative thinking contributes to anxiety.The key to changing your negative thought patterns is to understand how you think now (and the problem that result) and then use strategies to change thoughts or make them have less effect.

Remember,there are no “bad” emotions.All thoughts and feelings are valid.Both positive and negative thoughts play a valuable role in how we process the world around us.So,be happy and spread positive energy all around,the world needs it more.
