Yesterday was the first day of micro video workshop by Avi Arya. The workshop is on personal brand positioning.It started of at 10:00 am .Total 1400 people participated online.We were divided in different teams and were assigned group leader.Team names were based on well known personality of internet ,ours was Gary Vee.
First we were given brainstorming for finding what we liked and what we were doing i.e current occupation were same or different . Then we went to understand what does the customer want when is sitting On dinning table . He named it as Customer Avtaar. Basically it meant knowing your customer Demographics and psychographics. This helps in getting your target audience.
Then we went to understand which Industry options are there and finding your niche in it. Basically he meant to find out your unique positioning. Having grilled in all this for almost an hour we went to creat our unique Hero speech.
Till now I was shy on videos but the steps he showed helped me to creat a logical and relatable video.
Today in world of instagram and Facebook videos are great way to attract leads.
We were assigned home work where in needed to see video about how to remove phobia of video and listen to podcast with van hok. While listening to van hok what i liked about him was his ability to not quiet he had failed 13 times before testing success. His concept of integrating family with business.He does not believe in work life balance. His concept of significance which means ability to give back to society.
We were given reference for video editing sites.
Task was to create our own hero speech which I created as follows
Hi I am Pinkesh Shah , brought up in sanskari nagari of Vadodara.Father of a daughter and husband of super women.Technocrat worked at Infosys,presently Director at Daril Lighting Pvt Ltd, having distribution network of 500 dealers with expirence of 43 years.
Posted this speech on instagram and Facebook and got good response and leads started following.
We have lot of blogs on social media marketing , I practically tried it and its effective.
Basically with this pandemic when footfalls at retail are at their lowest point online is the way to go. I underestimated its power till recently but I am sure would now be able to unleash most of it.
