Today i watched though only first half of Accidental PM.As the name suggest its on our former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh.Well movie starts with the election win of 2003 by UPA government. Since there was a strong opposition of Sonia Gandhi , Dr Manmohan Singh was chosen as Prime Minister of India.

Why I choose to write about Dr Manmohan Singh?

Seeing the movie And also from news article Dr Manmohan Singh is a person who is passionate about his work and does not care about getting credit as is aptly shown in movie. 

We all know he was the Person along with P V Narshima Rao who opened up Indian economy  and saved our country from going bankrupt. He has wore many hats on his head 1) for finance secretary 2) RBI governor 3) Finance minister 4) Prime Minister of India.

One of his greatest brain child is MNREGA scheme which helped India to be out of economic slowdown in a very short time. He is a great economist no doubt even today.

For laymen let me explain MNREGA it is basically rural employment gaurantee scheme where people from rural India were given daily wages for infrastructure projects during economic downturn.To put it straight money was given to bottom of pyramid and hence it  increased there purchasing power and thus economy was restarted very fast. This is better way then giving freebies.

The nuclear deal signed with Mr bush which currently has helped India in UN and Security Councils are foundation laid by Dr Manmohan singh. He as PM had many nobel intentions but due to internal party politics execution with speed was not there. Current Atal Tunnel , Highest Airport in Sikkim and many projects completed after 2014 were his brain child. Some times I feel you need to do marketing in order to show the world your worth which he lacked.By this movie I surely have lot of respect for him. He is a down to earth person.

The 2009 election won by UPA was due to Mr Singh and slogan Singh is King became famous that time. He was loyal to party but unfortunately party could not take the best out of him.

He has also shown us that with your will you can sustain  an internal infighting and external pressure. Its tough just put yourself in his place.It is easy to make fun even I made of him but now I realise his situation.
