Was that a myth? Or was that a true story about Thunderbird?
Indeed, it is a mythological figure in many Native American legends. Thunderbird was, in fact, a legend. They were so massive that one of their wingspan's feathers had to be folded in half, and they were so powerful that their talons could easily carry a whale.
And because of this, many scholars believe that Thunderbird does not exist in our modern world because a bird like them is so large that it is easily seen.
Thunderbird was far too intelligent and captivating. They were the protectors of humans, but they were also seen as moral enforcers. And believe me, no one could ever dare to make him angry. Thunderbird was used to punish those who broke moral laws and failed as human beings.
Their rage was terrifying and it should be avoided at all costs. For their wrongdoings, they once turned the entire village to stone.
They also knew how to give life by nurturing life forms on Earth and providing them with rain in order for them to survive. Winds, droughts, lightening fires, and floods, on the other hand, have the potential to destroy the Earth.
They also protect human life from evil spirits and many believe that the Thunderbird was a distant ancestor of humanity.
Isn't it strange and magical all at the same time?
We often heard stories about magical creatures, huge animals, and many living beings as folklore in our bedtime stories or from a children's book.
The question is, where did they come from? How can they be described so beautifully with such minute details if they are only a myth?
If we think about all this, we will find the answers, but everyone just enjoys the story and forgets about it, or some just listen to all of this as a story. But I have a feeling there's more to it. I believe they existed on this planet before we did.
Maybe they're still here, just hiding because humans have a tendency to destroy what's beautiful, magical, and good.
And I sincerely hope that I will have the opportunity to see, meet, spend some time with, and understand them at some point in my life. Because they are not only magical, but also alluring, and they have a special place in my heart.
Believe in magic and the magic will happen.
