Happiness is one of the most widely used words. We all say_the kids look so happy, I'm so happy today. You don't look happy, any reason? How can you make the world a happier place? How can you avoid feeling sad and happy? What pill can help us? The conversation about happiness does not end there. Does science provide a common explanation for happiness? Common answers are found that happiness is a state in which a person feels good, happy, satisfied, beautiful, etc. Is happiness a long-term gift of life or a temporary feeling?
If I win the lottery, I'm happy. As I spend all my money, I'm unhappy. When you call me a good person, I feel happy, and when you insult me, I feel completely unhappy. When I look at the body of my old friend, I feel unhappy, and when I look at the laughing faces of the children, I feel happy. We have no control over it. External forces and events control our emotions. We all are toys, that have no free will. It's hard to believe, but this is true.
Let's find out what is wrong with happiness. Low self-esteem, a feeling of despair, sadness, guilt, helplessness, frustration, low interest, uncertainty, and all such negative emotions are not pleasant emotions. Instead, they make us unhappy. Now le's talk about what happiness is. Good feeling, happy looking, good thoughts, overcoming emotions, a satisfying life, and all such feelings make us happy.
Is happiness the same for all of us? If I give a certain amount to a few people, some may be very happy, and some may be very angry, and some may be indifferent. Do I explain myself? So happiness is not something we feel equally good about. I would be very happy to see a shining star at night, but you can only enjoy bright sunlight. So each of us has his own happiness.
Some of us are happy when we get a large amount of money, some when they can do a lot of creative work, some when they can make others feel good and so on. We all have different values and desires. We ourselves often do not know about them. It is difficult to know how to keep others happy, and this can lead to many personal problems. But this difference in our response to emotions makes us human; otherwise we are no different from animals.
So, the conclusion is that happiness is undefined.
I hope you get my point.
