There is nothing pure, beautiful and blissful like a new born baby.  For many, they are a source of joy and happiness.  Everyone loves a new born baby.  Very very smooth skin, small hands and feet are very beautiful to look at.  We can understand grown children by their words and actions.  But when it comes to newborns, there's a lot to understand.  It is good for us to know about newborns who cannot open their mouths and cannot show through actions.

A newborn baby cannot cry

Newborn babies are notorious for crying.  Whether they are sleeping or hungry, they will make a big fuss out of it.  You can't do anything about it anyway.  The greatest action is to suppress their cries.  But when a newborn baby cries, there are no tears.  They cannot shed tears.  While babies start crying from around 2-3 weeks, they don't shed tears until they are a month old.  Sometimes a baby sheds its first tears at four or five months.

Kids love to face right

As for children, only 15 percent of them prefer to face the left, while the rest naturally tilt their heads to the right.  It is said to be related to a gene.  However, this only lasts for a few months.

They see only black, white and grey

A newborn baby has visual impairment.  In the first few weeks after birth, they can only see black, white and gray and can only focus 8 to 12 inches from their face.  However, after a few weeks, they may start to look their respective colors.

Infants can get erectile dysfunction

For boys, erections are normal, especially when they urinate.  There is nothing to fear or be ashamed of.

Babies can scare themselves with their cries

They may even startle the newborn with a loud noise or their own cries.  They are capable of scaring themselves.  Also known as the Moro reflex, it is an involuntary startle response.  This is done by children and gradually stops within a few months 

Child development can be said to be a unique art.  Children learn more as they grow faster.  The first trimester of a newborn baby is very important.

This trimester should be spent cuddling with the baby.  Young mothers should pay close attention to the child's sleep, hunger and natural ailments.  Thus their brain development will be active.

Newborns cry a lot.  Probably hungry.  Or it could be due to natural calamity.  Sometimes they cry for no reason.  At 6 to 8 weeks the baby may need frequent visits from nurses and pediatricians.

One month for the baby

Children develop differently.  On an average, it gains 0.7 to 0.9 kg every month and grows 2.5 to 4. cm.  Their head circumference increases by about 1.25 cm every month.
