Captain Jack Sparrow is the protagonist of the Pirates of the Caribbean series, first appearing in Pirates of the Caribbean:
The Curse of the Black Pearl. Drunk, charismatic, and morally gray, Jack is a legendary pirate of the Seven Seas and an irreverent swindler of the Caribbean. His first love is the sea, his second love, his beloved ship is the Black Pearl.

Throughout a series of grand and thrilling adventures, Jack has battled characters such as his cursed first mate, Captain Hector Barbossa, his tyrannical former employer, Lord Cutler Beckett, legendary sailor Davy Jones, fearsome pirate Blackbeard and spooky Spanish Captain Salazar, among others. He often achieves his goals by forming alliances with more noble and heroic figures, such as Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, or the ruthless trickster Angelica. Jack's crew is interchangeable, with many of his men abandoning ships due to the captain's treacherous and unorthodox nature, or simply due to his bad luck. The only constant is Joshamee Gibbs, Jack's longtime friend and trusted first mate.

Background
Appearance
Jack Sparrow's distinctive look is accentuated by long dark brown hair and a short goatee. In addition, Jack sometimes wears a matte black tank top. Toward the end of Jack's life, his hair was adorned with a variety of beads and trinkets collected from his travels and adventures around the world, each of which reminded him of a previous adventures. Jack wears long beach boots and sturdy linen pants. A red striped belt is tied around his waist, where he stores his pistol when not in use. On Jack's back was a long brown coat that he would take off when there was a need to swim or the air became too hot. A light blue vest with a shorter light-colored back and a torn white bra make up the rest of the ensemble. On her head was still a red bandanna, complete with eight pieces (a small antique Siamese coin woven with Moroccan beads) draped over her forehead. After his piece of eight was destroyed in Calypso's release ritual, Jack replaced it with new jewels. Jack wears two belts, one to which he has some weird accessories attached. Below the belt, Jack wears a belt.

Like most pirates, Jack Sparrow wears four rings, while wearing a jagged black bracelet on his right wrist. Jack has two marks on his right forearm:
distinctive "P's" marked by members of the East India Trading Company (particularly managed by Cutler Beckett) and a tattoo of a sparrow flying over the sunset. This is a well-known telltale sign, signaling that the wearer has traveled across the seven seas. Jack's back is also heavily tattooed with a 15th century poem called "Desiderata".

Perhaps the coolest item Jack carries among his "uses" is the compass. Obtained from Tia Dalma in exchange, Jack's compass points not only to North but to whatever the compass holder most desires. Since "what you want most in this world" is a rather loose definition, it is used to refer to people (e.g.
Elizabeth wants Jack or Will), objects (such as Black Pearls or Chests). of the Dead), or a place (Example: Isle de Muerta or Shipwreck Cove).

Jack's gun stayed with him for many years, after being charged with a single shot and carrying him to a deserted island, it was abandoned by Barbossa after being knocked down in a military battle. variable. Jack escaped, and gave
