In terms of infrastructure, Punjab has got 150 marks out of 150 and Delhi is second with 149 marks. Punjab [929 marks], Chandigarh [912 marks], Tamil Nadu [906 marks], Andaman & Nicobar and Kerala [901 marks] are respectively among the top achievers with Grade L-2 as per the PGI-D 2019-20 report. [Out of 1000 marks] Seven states including Rajasthan and Haryana were included in the category of Level-3. These states have scored 851 to 900 marks. In 2018-19, not a single district was in the Utkarsh category, while 49 districts were included in the Uttam category and 267 districts were included in the Uttam category, that is, only 316 districts performed better or better. In 2019-20, the PGI of three districts of the country is in flourishing. There are Sikar, Jhunjhunu and Jaipur [all Rajasthan]. At the same time, 86 districts are included in the very best category, 276 districts are included in the best category. This report has been prepared in nine categories in which the first category is efficient category, but no district has been included in this category in both the reports. Apart from this, there is a category like Utkarsh, Very Best, Best, Aspirational. The Union Ministry of Education released the PGI-D Report for 2018-19 and 2019-20 under the Department of School Education and Literacy on June 27, 2022. An index under the District Based School Performance Grading Index (PGI-D) is assessed based on a comprehensive analysis of the performance of the school education system at the district level. Based on the success of the Performance Grading Index at the state level, the 83 indicator based PGI (PGI-D) for the district was designed to grade the performance of all districts in school education. According to the PGI-D 2019-20 report, Rajasthan tops in Learning Outcomes and Quality with 168 marks out of 180, followed by Chandigarh and Karnataka with 169 marks. Whereas Jharkhand has joined the top four with 156 points. In terms of access to school education, Punjab and Kerala lead with 79 out of 80, while Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh are in the top four with 77 points.India's nuclear weapons increased from 156 in January 2021 to 160 in January 2022.
