Healthy Benefits Of Seasoning Herbs

Hi everyone   

Welcome all,  I hope everyone are fine and good. Today my blog topic is about seasoning herbs.

In cooking Some herbs that are added to food for flavor, color and aroma . Not only so It also  beneficial for physical health.  Here is a some  of them.. 

 Parsley:

Parsley looks like coriander.  Its leaves, seeds and roots are all used to add flavor to food.  Parsley seed oil is used in making cosmetics, soap, shampoo/perfumes.  It is rich in anti-oxidants, carotenoids and vitamins that strengthen the immune system.  Nutrients in parsley increase bone strength.  Reduces high blood pressure.  Controls excessive bleeding during menstruation in women.  Regulates digestion.  Increases urine production.  It is also used in Ayurvedic medicine.  

Brinjhi Leaf:  

Biryani leaves called 'brinji leaf',  it can be taken raw and when you make a tea and drunk.  This will control the amount of sugar in the blood.  Brinji leaves are very useful for diabetic patients.  It improves insulin sensitivity.  It contains antioxidants, vitamin A, Vitamin C.  It contains iron, potassium, calcium and magnesium.

Oregano:

Oregano is a flavoring herb that can be used fresh as well as dried.  Adding oregano to the diet relieves cough tension, headache, irregular menstruation, toothache, stomach and kidney problems.   

Rosemary: 

 Rosemary is one of the aromatic herbs belonging to the mint family.  When you prepare it as tea and drink it, you will get rid of depression and get refreshed.  The problem of insomnia will be solved.  It is rich in vitamin B6.  This improves memory power.  Relieves muscle pain.  The good bacteria in the gut will increase and balance the  emotions of the brain.

Lemon grass:  

Lemon grass contains full of many nutrients like folic acid, potassium, copper, thiamin, iron and zinc.  You can make tea with it and drink it.  This will reduce high blood pressure. It make Cancer cells  to die.  The amount of hemoglobin in the blood increases.  Stomach disorders will disappear.  It makes Liver clean.  Reduces fungal infections.  An ointment made from this herb can be applied to skin lesions.  If people with dandruff problems apply lemon grass oil daily, the dandruff problem will decrease and hair growth will increase.  When you light a lamp in this oil, the pest of mosquitoes will be removed.   

 

Sage

Sage is a member of the mint family, and its strong flavor means it usually gets used in small amounts. 

Sage contains vitamins A and C, along with several other antioxidants which help reduce the risk of serious health conditions like cancer. It’s also rich in vitamin K, which aids the body in clotting blood. Since sage is usually taken in small amounts, it provides a high amount of nutrition without a lot of calories.
