Another beautiful day with another unusual topic! Yes we meet again!! and yes you read the heading right! Why say yes? When you can say NO! Uhm I know this sounds a little or completely negative but trust me things are gonna get much interesting as you read further! So get ready for this unusual journey of Why say yes? When you can say No!
Yes and No both are an adverb, a determiner, an interjection or a noun depending upon how you use it in the statement. I know this was a little boring so come on lets get to the interesting part!
You must've heard many motivational speakers saying “Always say yes to anything that might across your life!" or something similar, well what I say is make own decision. Why always say yes to everything that happens in your life?
You can't be successful without any no's in your life. Sounds strange right?! but let me tell you this. To be successful you must always say no to some things in life. For example if I want to earn more, then I must say NO to my laziness, my comfort zone, sometimes sleep and to all those things that wont let me work hard. Same thing can be applied to students. To get better grades you must have to say NO to all those things that distract from studying.
The main reason why we use these two words YES and NO is when we are making a decision. Well sometimes in life its better to say no than to say yes. Still wondering how? allow me to clear this for you.
Suppose your boss makes you an offer that he would double your salary but with extra work load that would consume your family time. So here you are in this situation. Would you say yes and take the doubled salary or will you say no and balance your work and family time?
Well the answer to that situation might differ to each one's perspective. There might be some of you or most of you that would agree with me by saying NO.
No matter you lost the opportunity to make double the amount of money you were making but in return you are getting that precious family time that you may never get again. You have your whole life to earn money but the time you spend with your family once might never come again.
Its not always that you have to say no in life but its not always that you have to say yes too. So when given the opportunity to say no why cant we use it a little more wisely depending upon the situation.
So to conclude with sometimes NO makes a better decision than YES, so Why say Yes? When you can say No!
