A Theory Of Motivation To Try Now

A successful theory of motivation must understand that we each receive different motivation. This is in many respects taken into account in the practise of neurological programming or "NLP." The principle of "distance" and "towards" personalities is one of the most useful NLP theories.

Naturally, as part of our work, we each have two modes of action, but sometimes one is dominant for all. Those who dominate the "toward" incentive would be more influenced by potential rewards thinking. Many that are mostly motivated by a "far-from" way of thinking would be more influenced by pain or trouble escape.

Learn two examples of what it means for you to have millions of dollars.

1. Stable and secured.1.You have the tools to quickly resolve most of your issues.

2. Your dream house and your favourite automobile too.

If you are more convinced by the first description, you have primarily a "abandoned" character. "Towards" people make good entrepreneurs, for instance, but they also have problems because they don't prepare enough well to prevent problems. "Get away" people handle things well and escape problems, but do not do it well for major purposes.

So how can you make best use of this principle of motivation and this awareness of yourself? You are a "towards" individual, and I suppose that you want to make additional money. You want to understand the things you are going to buy and do with the money, but you also want to understand that you can shine through the problems. You'll still have to remember what a mess it will be if you fail, if you are a "fleeting" person. Otherwise, once you exceed a certain amount of ease, you will lose your motivation.

Of course, you can more effectively impact others if you grasp these two motivational types. For example, if you wanted a new car to be sold to someone, you would decide first if they are motivated away. For the former one, you might illustrate how this new car does not mean any more problems with the used car or how it makes life simpler. You'd clarify to the latter how big they look or what it can do.

You can play and work with this theory to influence people using this experience, but don't forget to have influence. Although it is useful for knowing and influencing others, it is a philosophy of motivation best used to better yourself.
