Today's Topic is Things to keep in mind when you are meeting someone for the first time.

We all say- First impression is the last expression.So we all keep our best foot forward. Dress up well, personal hygiene, nice trimmed 💅 nails, hair proper but all these are the non verbal things we all do. There are also many other things which you should keep in your mind while you are going to meet someone for the first time.

• Always make an effort to reach on time- Respect others time as well. If you have given someone time of 5pm, make sure you are there at 4:55pm. Respect time of everyone.If by chance you are getting late because of traffic or some urgent work, Inform them.
• Put your phone away-  When you are meeting someone, make sure you keep your phone away. Don't check notifications again and again. All these message can wait. Take that call until and unless it is very important.
• Acknowledge the time of awkwardness - There may be time, when there is complete silence,- that time it's okay to acknowledge the silence.
• Be honest for what you are looking for- Be honest, why you are meeting. Agenda for meeting. Converse well with all the points. Clear that person why we are meeting. 
• Come clean about your circumstances- Dont hide, clear your circumstances. What you are doing right now? If you don't want to disclose, keep that distance from the starting. Don't ask either.
• Don't be too judgemental- Dont think or say- I don't like what she is wearing? Whatever. Don't judge a person on that. It is important to stick to standards but it is also important to stick to your mind. Don't judge someone so much that you don't even give a person benefit of doubt.
• Make eye contact- If you don't make an eye contact - it will make the conversation very rude. Maintain eye contact- it will make conversation enjoyable.
• Listen to what they are saying- Dont keep on speaking only, listen to other person also. Ask questions to take the conversation forward.
• Be as open minded as possible-  May be you don't like what the other person is saying. But try to be open minded as much as you can.
• Never justify yourself.
• Don't mind to cut the meet short- If you are getting late,don't hesitate to say bye.
