Today I am going to talk about how to overcome any fear?
Fear- It is one of the seven emotions that we feel
How fearful we are to hear this word fear. Let's understand that-
If we have any fear, until and unless we will not take any action, nothing will happen rather it will be converted into terror.
So we have to be very carefull on how we are dealing with that fear.
At some point of time in our lives, we have thought once that if my goal is not achieved then what will happen? If I fail in exam then what will happen?
There is always a fear of unknown we have. Sometimes we have situational fear. For eg- If my today's flight is delayed then what will happen? But sometimes we have such unrealistic fear that it becomes permanent. It becomes a hindrance for our personal growth. So then it becomes necessary to understand what is this fear? And how we can overcome it?
- Self Awareness:- Accept it that you are afraid of this thing or its consequences that are going to happen.
- Don't deny, Accept it:- accepting that you are afraid of something will not make you weak person. It is the brave thing you do that you are accepting your fear. When you accept you develop a skill of coping with it. How I have to deal with this fear? Remember- When you try to ignor your fear, it grows.And When you face it, it shrinks.
- Understand your fear and explore it:- Understand Why. From were is the fear coming from?
- Nothing in the life is to be feared but it is to be understood.
- Develop a sense of personal control:- Don't let fear control you. You have to control fear. You have to take charge of this emotion.
- Practice Mindfulness:- Try to be in focus. Practice Mindfulness. Start being more mindful.
- Train your mind:- What is the worst that can happen? Nothing worst will happen. Nobody is going to come and kill you. Train your mind, whatsoever nothing worst is going to happen. Don't fear the worst consequences.
- Always appreciate your courage:- Reflect back on your journey. Tell back yourself how far you have come? Look all the obstacles you have overcome. Each obstacle or hurdle you have conquered a milestone for you. Be proud of yourself. Celebrate your success.
- Trust yourself:- There is no better feeling in this world then trusting yourself. Nobody should have a charhe of your emotions. Not even the emotions.
So always try and be positive, feed yourself with lot of trust and believe in yourself. And it is absolutely okay, if you make mistakes in your journey because mistakes is what it makes us.
