Apparatus Required: liquids, glass funnel, glass tube with pinch cock, beakers, screw gauge, stop clock etc____

An arrangement is made as shown. Using the stop clock, the pinch cock.screw is carefully adjusted such that 16 - 18 drops of water, are uniformly formed in air per minute
A clean beaker with certain amount of kerosene is taken and its mass m is determined using a physical balance
The tip of the tube is just immersed in the kerosene and a certain number of drops of water , say N drops, are collected in its this beakers the value of N is also noted down
Step 4 :: step 2 and 3 are repeated for 3 times and means mass of N drops is obtained. The mean of a single drop of the equation
Step 5:: The results of step 2-4 are tabulated shown in Table 1
Step 6:: The zero error and the least count of the given screw gauge is noted down
Step 7 : The external Diameters d of the tube is then measured for three times and the mean value of is calculated
Step 8: The results of step 8 and 9 are recorded as shown in table 2 . The density of two liquids are noted down from a standard physical tube and the liquids become completely immisible the two liquids is calculated
