After Movie 2019 - Final Review

I have to give it five stars even though it deviates greatly from the novels in many respects and even though I think the second and third movies are better since I find myself going to Netflix to watch it repeatedly. Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford are both exceptionally gifted actors who have a great relationship on screen, and I predict that both will become rising stars in the next years. Even if each character is defective and poisonous in their own unique manner, you still find yourself pulling for their connection because they are able to find common ground. The movie itself has a great flow to it, even though several sequences were removed for final editing.

The ensemble was outstanding! The portrayal of Tessa by Josephine Langford was really lifelike and did the character's desperate need for a decent dick credit. The same is true for Pia Mia as Tristan and Hero Fiennes Tiffin as Hardin—in fact, the entire cast! One of the best films ever made in terms of direction and cinematography! The sexual scenes were amazing as well. The story tells it how it is, and it makes perfect sense! It's amazing how inventive the film is; it's hard to think someone could have created something that good. It truly is the greatest intelligent film ever made!

The movie was saved, notably by Josephine. Without a doubt, it's an amazing movie. But it can sound a little strange coming from the viewpoint of someone who has read the books. Even though their first attempt at the industry wasn't perfect, I still thought it was fantastic because it was their first attempt and they achieved amazing things. Hero and Jo have unquestionably amazing chemistry together and are expert at portraying their respective roles. I will always cherish this movie because it offers you just enough—not too much, but enough—to be a little more dramatic than other films.

It's absurd that a Wattpad tale served as the inspiration for this. A real-life fan fiction. It's cliched, but in the best possible ways. Numerous storyline twists were somewhat predictable. The film leaves viewers with unfulfilled expectations, but if they use their imaginations to imagine what might occur in the future, it leaves them with bittersweet wishes for what they hope doesn't come to pass.

Tessa and Hardin have their ups and downs, but because they both had trouble growing up with absentee fathers who were alcoholics and were searching for their own identities, they complement one another well and bring out the best in one another. Although the books deal with more mature subjects like date rape and sexual assault, the movies appear to stick closer to the PG15 level without going too far. (Of course, there are a few private moments and one sex scene.) I would absolutely recommend it if you appreciate hopeless romantic book geeks with a wild side and sizzling bad boys with a vulnerable side.
