Bears are a carnivorous mammal, polar bears and grizzly bears are the largest of all carnivorous mammals.  Some smaller species of bears, such as the Asiatic black bear, are omnivorous.  Polar bears are large in size.  They are white in color, making them hard to find in the icy polar regions.  In the language of the Eskimos, "Arctos" means the land of the bears, hence the name "Arctic".

Biologists place bears in the larger group Ursidae.  Ursus means bear in Latin.  Based on this, Ursidae refers to this species.  There are only five species in this suborder of Ursidae.  Each of the four sub-divisions has a category.  There are no bears in Africa or Australia.  Only in the northern part of South America do some species of bears live in a small area.  Bears have small eyes.  They have poor eyesight but good sense of smell and hearing;  They have a lot of body hair.  And they can stand on two legs.  Bears use their long and curved claws to hunt and attack their enemies.  These nails are covered with mud and dirt.  Bacteria are abundant.  Hence the wounds of the victim are not easily healed.Ticks are anything that bears eat, including leaf litter and carrion.  They mostly eat fruits, fruit seeds, stems, some specific leaves and barks.  Bears are more botanically knowledgeable than humans.  Bears know exactly where to find what kinds of food in what season.  They love to eat papaya.  Bears have the ability to easily climb to the top of trees.  Bears also love honey.  Bears find hives in mountain caves and treetops for honey.  It also likes to eat termites.  Bears are capable of sucking termites whole with their mouths in termite burrows.  Bears are an average of four feet tall and weigh one hundred and fifteen kilograms.  They are hunted for their skin and their pancreas, which is considered to have medicinal properties.  Bears breed in summer.  Their gestation period is seven months.  Two cubs are born in one cycle.  Mother bears carry their cubs on their backs until the cubs are two or three years old.polar bear
