Sivakarthikeyan (born 17 February 1985) is a Tamil film actor and lyricist who is a show host on Vijay Television.  He is a native of Tiruveezhimilai village, Tiruvarur district, a musician and studied at Jeje College of Engineering, Trichy.  He joined Vijay TV as an anchor through his mimicry skills.  He made his debut in the film industry as the lead actor in the movie Marina, which was released on 3 February 2012 and was directed by Pandiraj.During college, Sivakarthikeyan participated in various cultural events and did mimicry and stand-up comedy on stage.  [10] He took a three-month break between his studies, during which time his friends convinced him to audition for a comedy reality show, Shula Go Vatu Kaur, which aired on Star Vijay.  He started his career as a mimicry artist.  Despite her initial reluctance to participate, she won the show.  [11] He has appeared in short films including his friend Atlee`s Hokkadakam, [12] Identity, Kural 786 and 360°.  Egan's producers noticed Sivakarthikeyan and offered him a supporting role, but his parts did not make the final cut.  [13]
