These Miyazaki mangoes are basically grown in the Miyazaki city which is in Japan. They are usually dark pink in colour which makes it unique and rare from other mangoes.
When the name comes to mangoes, everyone's face is mouth watering whether its children,adult,old people etc. And why not mangoes itself are considered as the king of fruits.
Mango constituents:
•Mangoes contain 84% water
•15% carbohydrates
•1% protein
•Negligible fat
In India Miyazaki mangoes have recently been grown in the state of Madhya Pradesh by a couple of farmers. They have said that they have been given the sapling of this mango plant by some Japanese man while visiting their place. These mangoes are very popular in South East Asia.
Here are some interesting facts about this exquisite variety of mangoes:
•These mangoes are 350 kg in weight and contains 15% or higher sugar content.
•These mangoes are grown between the month of April to August which is usually the peak harvest time.
•They are also called as the "Egg of the Sun".
•Miyazaki mangoes are the most expensive in the world and sold at around ₹3 lakhs per kg in the international market annually.
•These mangoes are rich in antioxidant and contains folic acid which is great for people with tired eyes. It helps in preventing reduced eyesight.
• These mangoes are usually red in colour and they look like Ostrich's eggs.
•The cultivation of these mangoes requires plenty if rain and was first cultivated in the city of Miyazaki around 1984.
•These fruits are rich in beta-carotene and improves the vision.
•Warm weather, abundant rain and long hours of sunlight makes the production of these mangoes costly and rare.
These mangoes comes in handy and has a rich amount of content.As mangoes are admired by everyone sure it would be much more interesting to know about this special variety.
