Secret Of The Earth

Earths Secret creates supplements with a focus on science and natural ingredients that are intended to "elevate your wellbeing" every day. Their website is covered in terms like nootropic, adaptogen, and ayurvedic botanicals, but this isn't just marketing speak. It is extremely advisable to look into the ingredients of any supplement to understand the science behind the related health advantages. This contains no filler materials. I'm really proud of you for that. I come across teas with a list of ingredients all too frequently that claim to "detox" or aid in weight loss but have no scientific backing. The three supplements that Earths Secret presently sells are Calm, Thrive, and Sleep. One of the primary ingredients in the supplement I chose, Calm, is L-theanine. Why do I mention it in particular?

Overall, the Earth's mobile lid has proven to be incredibly beneficial for all multicellular life, including ourselves, but like all good things, it will eventually come to an end. Because plate tectonics is such an effective method of releasing heat, it will have cooled the Earth sufficiently in around a billion million years so that the upper mantle will no longer be able to melt as plates are torn apart at mid-ocean ridges. As a result, the planet will enter its "cold stagnant lid" phase, which Bob Stern refers to as "ridge lock," where opposing plates fuse together. Due to the slow increase, the oceans will have drained around the same period.

Because of this, the Earth has existed for 2.5 billion years, a period of time sufficient for the evolution of bacteria into humans. However, the cessation of plate-driven convection will mean the end of the world as we know it because without the services that plate tectonics provides for life, the Earth will once again be populated solely by microorganisms and eventually become as lifeless as its neighbours. If the inhabitants of a planet orbiting a star in the elliptical galaxy affectionately referred to as NGC 4709, 200 million light years away in the constellation Centaurus, were to launch a spacecraft towards Earth today, travelling, like Stephen Hawking's laser-propelled nanoprobes, at a fifth of the speed of light, it would arrive to find that the Earth has not changed much in the intervening 200 million light years.

The buoyancy and viscosity of both sources change over time as heat is lost through the surface. The cold lid gets less buoyant while the mantle below becomes more viscous, increasing the drag on the lid. The "hot stagnant lid" eventually reaches a point where it starts to collapse. Following the collapse event, it fragments and begins to collapse into the interior, signalling a change to the episodic lid mode, in which a stagnant lid recurs tens of millions of years later. A second shift from episodic lid to fully mobile lid tectonics, or to plate tectonics, may occur as a result of more cooling.
