How To Prevent Sexual Assault.

Increasing rape cases around the country sacres us so much. Seeking justice is a forever thing. It takes years and years to get justice for a rape victim and whats the use of this justice, i mean the rapist should be punished of course but the victim is already gone to the heavens or is mentally depressed and is living a difficult life.

Today let's talk about prevention rather than justice. Because honestly we should first protect ourselves than expect from the laws.

FIRST THINGS FIRST- Whenever you call a taxi or an autoricshaw, before you even sit. Stand in front of the driver and take a picture of his vehicle along with number plate and the driver(if possible) and let him know that you have taken his number plate details and then sit in the vehicle.

LET HIM KNOW YOU ARE SMART-Call any of your family member and tell them that you have sent the vehicle number and the driver's picture. Speak in at least two languages local and national so that the driver understands and is alert that someone has his details.

KNOW THE POWER OF YOUR KNEES- We often experience a bad touch and push while travelling via train and bus. And many of us tend to ignore and change our position. Why? It is very important to make that person embaress in front everyone that's present over there, so that he thinks twice before doing the same thing with another woman. My Beautiful women's your knees are capable of showing a disgusting man his place. So Lift up your knee and punch him right on his penis and tell him why did you do this. If you are somewhere in an uncommon place, just punch him there and run as fast as you can.

BE A WOMAN WHO CAN BREAK BONES- We have seen many women who fight by pulling each other's hairs. But  men dont get affected by pulling hairs. So learn karate or basic boxing so that it is easy for us to deal with such men.

CHECK WHETHER THE CAR HAS A CHILD LOCK- You get stuck miserably if you do not know what car are you sitting in. There can hardly be a way out to rescue yourself out of a car that has been child locked if anything bad happens. So before you sit, always and always check for a child lock if the car has one, feel free to walk off.

CARRY A PEPPER SPRAY- Pepper spray is a chemical that irritates the eyes by causing a burning sensation, pain, and temporary blindness. Carrying it is legal and doesn't require any documentation. So why not carry in our bags forever? Whenever you withness such incidents, we just have to put our hand in our bag, and spray it right in their eyes.

Comment below your thoughts and Let me and my other readers know if you have any other prevention ideas that we can follow.

You say "Preventing Sexual Assualt is in our hands", I disagree with you. Here is my guide to "prevent" sexual assault: 1. Don't rape 2. Don't sexually assault anyone in any way. 3. Respect everyone's consent. 4. If you think you can't control yourself and may sexually assault someone, call a friend and ask them to take you to a therapist. Because "preventing" my assault is not in MY HANDS. I am in no way responsible for it. Because maybe someday I will be in too much of a hurry to call a friend or take a picture of the vehicle or the driver or check for the child lock. Because maybe someday I will forget to bring my pepper spray. Because I may not know "karate or basic boxing" because I don't want to learn it. Because when you say "preventing sexual assault is in our hands" and "take responsibility" you are implying that if I get raped/assaulted because I did not take these "measures to prevent it", whatever happened with me is MY FAULT. That I wasn't "careful enough". This is victim-blaming and IT. IS. WRONG. Because by teaching us to “prevent getting raped” you are saying, “Sorry honey we have got a lot of untamed wild animals around here and we can't put them in cages because * cough * they are superior, so it will be “safe” for you to cage yourself. If you are teaching women to “prevent getting raped”, you are telling them “make sure he rapes the other girl” because there will always be a girl who is less sober, less secure, with fewer friends, walking in a darker part of town. I want her safe just as much as I want me safe.
