Does magic exist? Nobody knows , but we all like to believe in it.

Fairies are mystical creatures or a form of spirit .They are known to have magical powers and are close to human beings.  They appear as dwarf and green and  lives underground. They are protective creatures inhabiting fairy land.They were known as ‘Children of eve’ , considered as living dead.

TYPES OF FAIRIES:

1. BROWNIES                                                                                                       They are household spirit. They were helpers of farmers.                       They are short and have pointed ears.They don't have wings .They live underground and have no family. They work for families who are hardworking. They are known to bring good luck to the family. They help in house chores and loves animals .Their favorite food is honey and cookies.

2. PIXIES:

They are tiny fairies who lives in garden and woods. These are the ones we see in fairy tales and Disney movies. They are connected to human beings more.They are known as nature fairies. They have wings  and moves like a humming bird. They usually wear green. They are fun loving and can sometimes be harmful to humans. They are known to steal stuffs. Their favorite food is nectar and honey.

3. BANSHEE

It is a female fairy who can predict death. Her cry is an omen.She appears in different forms. She can't be seen by eye but can be heard.

She runs a comb through her hair when she cries. She doesn't harm people.

4. LEPRECHAUNS:

They are small men , dressed in green with a pointed cap. They love to smoke pipes. They are cobblers. They always have shoe and hammer in their hand. They love music and dance themselves. They can help human with their musical abilities. If you are kind to them , they gift you gold coins.

5. ELVES:

They are tiny with blonde hair and blue eyes. They have pointed ears and looks similar to humans. Many cultures still believe that elves exist. They are protectors or caretakers of the forest.They are vert smart. They usually stay away from human being and can attack if provoked.

We all love stories about mythical creatures. Fairy stories are the most interesting ones! After all , who doesn't like a little magic in their life.
