Hii friends
It's a good article..where you can gain some information about the king of the forest lion (Animal)
A lion (Pantera Leo), a large and powerfully built cat (Felidae), and the second largest cat after a tiger. The proverbial "king of beasts", the lion is one of the most famous wildlife since ancient times. Lions are most active at night and live in a variety of habitats, but prefer grasslands, savanna, dense shrubs, and open forests. Historically distributed in much of Europe, Asia and Africa, it is now found primarily in parts of sub-Saharan Africa. An isolated population of about 650 Asian lions represents a slightly smaller variety living under strict protection in India's Gil National Park and National Wildlife Refuge.
A lion is a muscular cat with a long body, a large head, and short legs. Size and appearance vary greatly by gender. A salient feature of a man is his mane, which varies between different individuals and groups. He may not exist altogether. It can line his face. Alternatively, it may be complete and fluffy, covering the back of the head, neck, shoulders, down the neck and chest and joining the fringes along the abdomen. For some lions, the mane and fringes are very dark and almost black, giving the cat a majestic look. Manes can be used to make men look taller, intimidate their rivals, or impress potential partners. Adult males are approximately 1.8-2.1 meters (6-7 feet) long and do not include a 1-meter tail. Shoulder height is approximately 1.2 meters and weighs 170-230 kg (370-500 lbs). Females or lions are smaller, 1.5 meters long, shoulder height 0.9-1.1 meters, and weigh 120-180 kg. Lion coats are short, ranging in color from buff yellow, orange brown, silver gray to dark brown, with tufts at the tip of the tail, usually darker than the rest of the coat.
Female lions
Lions. The head of the family is a proud man. He is the King of Pride and his job is to protect a female lion called Lioness and his young child.
Lioness is very busy. In addition to caring for young people, they have to hunt to feed the rest of the pack. They are smaller and faster than men, and have no mane to make them easily recognizable.
