There's a way you can trick your brain into reliving any happy event or situation as if it's actually happening again. Simply draw a picture in your mind of past happy events or situations. Use sensory details to make it come alive inside your mind, creating a tangible feeling of happiness and satisfying anticipation. Now slowly bring yourself back to the present by recentered back into your body, from the soles of your feet to the very crown of your head. Take a very deep breath and open your eyes. You will feel rejuvenated, happy and will ready to focus on thinking only happy thoughts. This process can spark existing neurons and can strengthen neural connections associated with the memory of the brain, essentially increasing the levels of your pleasure and happiness from within. The more you try to remember happy times, the happier your outlook on life will be in future. 

Remember that Happiness is a journey

If you want to add years to your life and find happiness, you have to think of happy thoughts. When you choose happy thought over negative thoughts, you are more likely to create and develop an optimistic outlook. You can even create a list of positive affirmations instead of letting a barrage of negative thoughts take over your life. You may think that negative thoughts can happen faster, but the good news is that you can interrupt these negative thoughts and deal with them realistically. You can even say STOP to yourself. you yourself have to find a way to stop those negative thoughts. And there's more good news. Even if you aren't a happy person, thinking about happy thoughts is a skill that can be learned. Work on being open, being optimistic and choosing to see the proverbial glass half full rather than seeing it half empty. Keep that positive vibe going through your intentions and actions in whatever you do and create. The more you frequently choose to be happy and positive, the more your efforts in future will strengthen. So next time when you are in a line and someone cuts in front of you, don't be rude and respond with anger, instead return rudeness with respect and kindness. ATTITUDE is a choice, HAPPINESS is a choice, being OPTIMISTIC is a choice, KINDNESS is a choice, GIVING is a choice, giving RESPECT is a choice. whatever choice you make, makes you. so better choose wisely.
